OBITUARY
Stuart W. "Stu Bum" Miller

Stuart W. "Stu Bum" Miller ICC (SS) USN Ret. born 10-1-35 entered Heaven 11-24-15. He was raised in Bath, IL, joined the Navy at age 17 serving 22 ½ years (1952-1975) specializing in submarines, including the USS Abraham Lincoln (SSBN-602) and deep sea diving. He then worked for Dow Chemical for 20 years.

He is survived by one sister, Karen Hamm of Rome, IL. Preceded in death by his parents, Ferne Hawks Miller and Virgil Miller and his wife of 54 years, Tressa Tatarka. Stuart was a lifelong friend and companion to Betty K. Vaughn.

He was a kind, loving, gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. with funeral service at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ 85351.
